My name is Tara, and I am an 18 year old singer/lyricist, who has over 7 years singing experience and 4 years writing experience. I am able to sing between alto and medium/somewhat high soprano. I've been told I sound like Amy Lee, from Evanesence. I am not looking for a once in a while/I do this when I am bored type thing, I am looking for dedicated musicians who share my passion for music. I am able to tour if needed and practice as many as 4 times a week. I regret to say that I do not have much stage presence, but am willing to do whatever it takes to change that. I'm a vocalist, keys, bass and/or guitarist with lots of band experience. Early retired from IT (I'm 58) and would like to hook up with other musicians to play some jobs part time. Can do any style (except metal, opera or rap), and ideally would like to hook up with a guitar, sax, drums, bass, keys combo, do some vocals and play what ever does the most good for the band. I'm not a great instrumental soloist but can cut a respectable groove on the instruments mentioned. I'm from Old Greenwich, have all pro equipment and PA...looking for some seasoned musicians to play a mix of classic Rock, Standards, R&B, etc. Not into the 3am bar scene. |
