I have been producing my own electronic music for 4 years now. I produce cross-genre electronic music that is sometimes frantic and upbeat and other times chilled and ambient. I do not usually compose with boundaries and am always open to new ideas. I have managed to develop my own sound over the years and am trying everything to get my music up and going for live performance and CD. All sorts of styles inspire my music. My main influences include, Lamb, Leftfield, Bjork, Chemical Brothers, Roots Manuva, Tricky, Prodigy, Massive Attack, Audio Bullys and DJ Shadow. I have a degree in music technology and have even worked with live video and experimental music. I can play a few instruments but I create most of my music on the computer within my well established home music setup. The best way to describe my sound is: electronica/experimental/influences of DnB, HipHop, Triphop, Ambient, chilled, Acoustic, world music, Breakbeat.
My music has a unique edge to it, as all my friends have told me! lol. I am trying something I have never done before and am in search of a female vocalist to perform on my tracks, to make up a double act (DJ and Vocalist/songwriter). I need someone who can write their own lyrics and have a passion for expressing their ideas and experiences vocally. If you are into bands like, Lamb, Portishead, Tricky or Bjork and you would like to be involved in something fresh, then let me know.
