My musical preference is country and blues but have done considerable 50s and soft rock as well. Currently I am playing an alto sax set up to sound both soft and mellow plus loud and boisterous i.e. Boots Randolph. I am a lead-type musician and play by ear although I can read music I have never mastered the art of sight-reading.
