How an Organist Finds the Perfect Band
The best way for an Organist to find a band is to follow these simple steps.
- Start by posting a comprehensive Organist Available ad.
- Share the genres you're most skilled in and the artists or bands that inspire you.
- Specify your commitment level and availability.
- Include any bands or artists that influence you.
- Don't forget to include a photo and a demo!
This not only showcases your skills but also helps in pinpointing bands that align with your musical direction and goals. It’s a great way to ensure you connect with bands looking for your unique Organist talents.
Below are just some of our Organist Wanted ads.
Once you create an account you can search all of the database and narrow your search to help find just what you're looking for.
It's easy to place a Wanted or Available ad. Creating an account takes less than a minute and with more and more musicians joining everyday, finding that Organist or that musician to play with could soon become a reality!

Someone that knows their scales and could do some fun improvising during instrumental sections would be cool. Someone creative that likes the dynamics of what an original band brings. Bands we like and could pick up on sounds of: Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Pink Floyd, White Stripes, Blind Melon, Guns and Roses, Pearl Jam, Black Keys, Phish, Grateful Dead, Rage against Machine, Sublime and everything in between.
We do a mix of covers and originals. Have about 2 albums worth of originals and around 1.5 hours of covers. Covers listed at the bottom. The money we make we just put into a band account to let it build up for merch, equipment, going to the studio for our originals etc. Some places we have played: H Street Festival, Clarendon Day, Iota, Jammin' Java, Clarendon Grill, Velvet Lounge, Chief Ikes, Tree House Lounge, Sollys and some others. Send an email if you think you could be up for jamming or think you could make a good fit in the current band. We are playing out every month or so give or take and are not doing this professionally. We all have full time jobs, but really enjoy doing this. We practice about once a week depending on schedules. Shoot us an email with some links to some of your material if you think there could be a fit.
