About me: Looking for musicians to make music that’s a little experimental. My partner and I have a couple of projects with a lot of material recorded and ready to go. Australian TOOL Tribute: THIRD EYE are seeking a new Bassist. 
 
About the Band: 
 
Third Eye have been Australia’s premier Tool Tribute show for over 10 years. Welcomed back by fans and venues alike, we have the privilege of performing to great crowds, in some of Australia’s premier live music venues; including 170 Russell, The Corner Hotel, Max Watts, Northcote Theatre, Crowbar (Brisbane/Sydney), Lion Arts Centre (Adelaide), The Factory Theatre (Sydney), Brightside (Brisbane), Altar Bar (Hobart), Rosemount Hotel (Perth). 
 
We strive to deliver a Tool ‘experience’, meaning we re-create lighting, laser, and visual accompaniments (as well as stage props/additional guest performers). We have refined our sound over the last decade, and our setup/sound essentially mimics that of TooL. 
 
What we are looking for: 
 
We are seeking a professional, committed, talented Bassist who is dedicated to emulating Justin Chancellor, someone who is passionate about TooL, and understands the sanctity of bringing their music to the fans. Not just looking for someone who can play TOOL songs, we need someone that can truly channel Justin. 
 
The ideal candidate: 
 
Is capable of learning/performing the full TOOL catalogue. 
Has (or is willing to invest in) the relevant gear to capture Justin’s tone. 
Respects what it means to perform TOOL (fan expectations). 
Is willing to commit to 5-10 shows a year (inc. interstate travel). 
Is aged 25 – 45. 
Is humble and has a good sense of humor (about themselves). 
Is organised/willing to contribute to growing the band/show. 
*BONUS POINTS* - has relevant synthesizers 
 
How to Apply: 
 
Our initial screening phase will involve Video submissions from candidates. In-person auditions will be held for shortlisted submissions.
