I am looking to form a band, with members who lives in Northern Virginia. I want to play rock, punk, alt rock, or perhaps that with something electronic mixed in. I’ve been drumming for about 20 years, so I’ve played about 3 gigs but never found a group who wants to play anything like: SUM 41, System of a Down,
Blink-182, Queens of the Stoneage, Glass Animals, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, or Sleigh Bells.

I have been playing guitar for a year and a half, and have been singing for most of my life (not professionally trained) I very briefly played with a group earlier this year.
There is a lead guitarist in the group already, 4 years experience.
Genre inspiration includes alternative, alt metal, hardcore, grunge, death metal, shoegaze, punk, sludge, among others and various bands.
What we look for in a drummer and bassist: Someone who will be patient with the band (patience goes both ways), around our age range (18-22 years old), and someone who lives between the Rockville, MD and Herndon, VA area.

Bands I like include: The Dandy Warhols, System of a Down, Motley Crue, Fastball, Grateful Dead, The Dead Milkmen, Damon Albarn's bands, Roxy Music, Franz Ferdinand, The Decemberists, and SO many more...
I have 230ish songs online and 300+ total. So I'd really appreciate it if interested people would listen to several of my songs before deciding if a band with me is right for them. All my songs are different. I aim for catchiness rather than a specific style, but I'd like some heaviness sometimes. I've got music on Spotify, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and my personal YouTube channel
I do realize I play accordion for some songs, but those particular songs will presumably be arranged for the other instruments...with the help of all the band members.
Thanks for reading.

Hi, I’m looking to join a band, preferably in rock, metal, or alt rock. I’m not perfect, but I’m passionate about music and ready to collaborate.
• I used to play guitar back in 2015–16, took a break, and started again.
• I’ve taken music theory classes and also play keyboard/piano.
• I can program drums, and I have experience with mixing and mastering.
• I also sing and have a decent recording studio for production.
