I first started listening to Country Music when it became pop mainstream in the early 90's. I was influenced by many including George Straight, Garth Brooks, Dwight Yokham, Tracy Byrd, Joe Nichols, and Randy Travis. I rarely hear these played anymore and I would like to start a band that would focus on these and work on country songs that are currently popular as well. It would not hurt to throw in an occasional Johnny Cash song, but that is not the target audience (mostly for age appropriate people looking for live music.) I can play the drums and run sound but I am looking to be the lead vocalist. I have all of the practice space and equipment needed in my Leesburg, VA studio.
