Bass Guitarists Wanted In Bristol

About me: Hello
I have been playing drums & making music for over 20 years on and off. Playing live and in studios with bands or artists. Have an absolute passion for playing & making music, especially drums. I will play any genre, very comfortable playing rock, pop, blues, funk & hiphop. Looking for anyone who wants to make some music be it just for fun or to take over the world. I have all the equipment.

About me: Lead guitarist looking for people to play music that takes you on a journey from ambient soundscapes to heavy riffs and powerful explosions.

About me: Been in bands in the past, one semi successful. Been out of gigging/music for a good few years and want to grease the wheels. Nothing too serious for now. Mainly into instrumental post rock / metal but also all classic rock, indie and some pop.

About me: Hoping to join/start a cover band in Bristol. I like the idea of a parody fun band as well. Own gear and practice space. I used to play drums and backing vocals for The Pangolians which has been disbanded. We have a few videos on youtube.

About me: Psychedelic rock, old school 70s rock... Looking for a band to play with. War on Drugs, Brian Jonestown Massacre etc

About me: versatile bristol based experienced 22 year old drummer available for session work and looking for a band.

About me: Hello I’m pip, I’m looking to start a new cover/original band! I play lead guitar and do some vocals mostly metal screams!

About me: DRUMMER AVAILABLE (beginner/intermediate).

Level: my first instrument is the bass. I have been having fun on my electronic kit for years but recently getting more serious since I started playing on acoustic kit and started jamming with friends. I can improvise using basic drum techniques (no double bass), learn simple covers, pick up on a beat quite quickly and hold on a good groove if I’m really feeling the music. Obviously I’m still working on all of that and I expect I will need to practice stuff that we are working on. From my time playing bass, I think I have a good sense of time and a sense of the space and support expected of a rhythm section. I’d like to think I’m a good listener.

I like most music styles, I prefer originals. I think the people, soul and energy of the music are more important to me than the style.
I am up for jams, writing sessions, recording demos, playing gigs (only locals at first)
I own breakables and a Roland TD1KV electronic kit. Full acoustic kit in due course.
Don’t own car but can handle local gigs and rehearsals. I have a driving licence.
Equipped to record or program drums using electronic kit/midi/samples.
Equipped to record bass, guitar, keyboard and vocals audio to demo level.

Other musical skills:
Bass player: intermediate/advance (Cosmic Ninja, … )
Listener: intermediate/advance
Music theory and composition: Intermediate
Music technology - Logic: intermediate
Backing singer: Intermediate
Guitar player: beginner/intermediate
Piano/keyboard player: beginner
Singer: beginner

Male in late 30s. Prefers avoiding sausage fests but realistic.

About me: I like playing bass, guitar, violin (grade 2 as of 2026 - still at the basic level but getting there. I like writing songs - punk, pop, folk anything really. I like Dylan, The Doors, the Idles. Anything good really. The list really is endless. Been playing guitar 30 years but loving the bass. I don't take myself too seriously so looking to jam, have some laughs or even take it seriously until I'm as famous as Ariane Grande and have to take some serious time out due to al the limelight.

About me: Wanting to get back into jamming and playing in a band again, happy to do covers but originals would be more fun, not done much gigging really.
Looking for something post rock, or a rock/alt/indie style but am good at all styles of drumming from rock/metal to jazz and reggae stuff too. Just hit me up if you're after a drummer basically.
