I play: Lead Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Classical Guitar.
I'm looking for people who play: Lead Vocals.
About me: Looking for a band to join. I am a skilled guitarist. Studied electric lead guitar, acoustic/finger-style/rhythm, and classical guitar. Experience playing live shows. Experience playing solo guitar pieces. Developed aural skills. Took courses at Georgia State University including classical guitar performance under John Sutherland. Several semesters of music theory. I can also play cello and piano. Looking to join band just for fun. looking for anything casual: jam and play covers, write and play originals. I don't need to perform live, and I'm not looking for income, but I can and will play gigs. Just looking for a group to hang out with and jam with, as my passion for music is still alive. I have all my own equipment.
I live in the middle of nowhere Georgia, in Cornelia. Not too far from Gainesville. But, can make time to practice and/rehearse every week.
Influences include: 90s alternative rock bands (the last real music genre 😀 ), Dream Theater (my life changed after hearing Petrucci), Solo guitarists: Satch, Vai, Steve Morse, Eric Johnson, Andy McKee, Chris Parkening, Andrew York. Etc.
