How can Find a Musician help me?
Find a Musician helps you easily find the band members, the band, or the musicians you want.

How do I create my ad?
Just register with us and your ad is automatically created. The more details you add once you are logged in, the higher your chances of finding the right people.

Do I need to pay to use Find-a-Musician?
Joining, creating your ad, and browsing musicians are all free. When the replies start coming in, you’ll need a subscription to read them. Every member gets a one-time 7-day free trial when first upgrading, so you can try it out before committing.

How do I contact other members?
Once you’ve created an account (which also creates your ad) you can search our database of musicians and bands. If you find a member you want to contact, use the “contact me” button on their listing or profile.

How do I delete my account and remove my ad?
Once you are logged in, click on menu at the top then go to “my account” or click here and follow the instructions.

Is it free to join and advertise on Find-a-Musician.com?
Yes. You can join and create your ad for free. See “Do I need to pay to use Find-a-Musician?” above for how reading replies works.

Can other members contact me as a Basic Member?
Yes. We’ll email you when someone contacts you (unless you’ve turned off notifications in “my account”).

How do I change my mailing/notification preferences?
Once you’re logged in, click on menu at the top then go to “my account” or click here. On that page you’ll see options to change your mailing/notification preferences.

What are the advantages of Fully Subscribed Membership?
The benefits to being a subscribing member are...
1. Your account won’t be removed after 4 months’ inactivity.
2. You can include phone numbers, web addresses and email addresses in your profile.
3. You can read the messages sent to you by other members.
4. You can keep your messages indefinitely (currently removed after 30 days).
5. You have a sent-message folder to help you track who you’ve contacted.
6. You can upload more than one MP3 demo and picture.
7. You won’t see third-party adverts while you’re viewing the site.

How do I become a Fully Subscribed Member?
Log in to your account and click “upgrade my account” on the top or side menu.

How do I cancel my subscription?
Log in, go to “my account” (or click here).
• If you subscribed with PayPal or card via PayPal, use the unsubscribe button — this will take you to PayPal to cancel directly.
• If you subscribed with Stripe, click the “Manage your billing” button to manage or cancel your plan.
• You can also cancel any time using the link in your confirmation or renewal emails.
Still can’t find it? Just drop us an email and we’ll cancel it for you.
Cancelling your subscription won’t remove your account or ad — you’ll still be able to log in, browse, and post. -
Will my subscription be automatically renewed after I upgrade to Fully Subscribed Membership?
Yes. To make sure you get the most from Find-a-Musician.com your subscription renews automatically. If you cancel renewal, you’ll keep Fully Subscribed Membership until the end of the current period.

How can I change my username?
Contact us at admin@find-a-musician.com with the username you’d like and we’ll change it for you.

How do I upload pictures, MP3s and videos?
Log in. Click on menu at the top and choose to upload pictures, MP3s or videos.

How can I change my ad/profile?
Log in. Click on menu at the top and then “update profile”. The more detail you add, the more likely you are to find what you’re looking for.

How do I change my password?
Log in. Click on menu at the top and then “my account” or click here. You can change your password on that page.

I didn’t receive my welcome email — how do I activate my account?
If you attempt to log in you’ll be prompted to resend the welcome email.
The email is most likely in your spam/junk folder. If you find it there, mark it “not spam”, then click the link in the email to complete registration.
If you can’t find it, add admin@find-a-musician.com to your contacts/safe list and try again.
If you still don’t receive it, email admin@find-a-musician.com with subject “confirmation” and we’ll confirm your email manually.
