About us: Thank you so much for considering playing with Trotters Wake Irish Band or Almost Awake Cover Band!
Trotters Wake plays a high energy mix of old and new Irish and Scottish drinking songs, rebel songs, ballads, and traditional instrumental tunes. Our full instrumentation includes acoustic guitar/electronic kick drum, fiddle, bodhrán (Irish hand drum), and bass guitar. We play a more traditional style like The Clancy Brothers, Irish Rovers, and The Dubliners alongside songs from more “modern” bands like The Pogues, The Waterboys, Flogging Molly, and Gaelic Storm. I formed and led the band in Arizona for 17 years before moving to Souderton, Pennsylvania in April 2023 and reforming the band here. We play private shows now but will be playing in pubs eventually. We play 1-3 shows per month within about a 150 mile driving distance from Souderton. I have a full band now but I need backup players who may move into primary roles. Irish music experience and the ability to improvise are preferred, but if you play well and are interested, please contact me. No professional experience is necessary, and age is absolutely not a factor. I’ve had players from ages 16-80, but I especially like mentoring younger players in college or recent grads who need some $ and experience. I can provide contacts for my former bandmates if you want to talk to them about their experiences in the band. Typical pay ranges from $100-$400/show, depending on the travel time and performance length. I pay by check and do report income as required by IRS guidelines.
Almost Awake is a 60’s-80’s cover band playing our rock, folk, and country favorites. We were formed in 2024 from a group of friends in the Lions Gate community in Souderton. We have acoustic guitar and bass guitar but our drummer recently passed unexpectedly. We have a repertoire of about 2.5hr of material and have played out 4 times.
Best!

About us: I am the bass half of a drummer/ bassist duo looking for musicians and vocalists for Los Niños Dificiles, a latin pop band. Currently, all covers, but no objection to originals. I can write, but I sure as heck can’t sing, the drummer can and does ok.
The intent is a 5 or 6 person band, in the style of Julieta Venégas and Los Angeles Azules: drums, bass, guitar, horn (trumpet or trombone, maybe French horn?), accordion, percussion, and vocals. We are looking for the raw energy of punk, and the musicianship of Carlos Santana. 95% of vocals in Spanish or Brazilian Portugese, almost all songs from south of the US/Mexican border. Covers of: Los Lobos!, Shakira, Sadé, Los Toucanes, Tito Puenté, Santana, Laura Leon, Bunburry, Mikel Erentxun, Mana, Vela Puerca, Los Rodriguez, Natalia LaFourcade, Elefanté, Gaby Moreno, Los Tigres del Norte, Los Palominos, Molotov, Selena, Girl in a Coma, Edith Marquez, Sergio Mendes, the Plugz, Gloria Trevi, and Los Saicos.
In the words of Sting “In rock and roll, you have to BURN from the very first note”. Of this is your approach, come check our playing.
We are an Urugayan (drummer) and Californio (bassist) seeking other players, immigrant and native, to join us in bringing some high-energy dance music to the latino communities of northern California. We are based in Santa Cruz, with an audience range from Soledad in the south, north to Napa, and from the beach east to Morgan Hill, and mayyyybe into the Central Valley. Women highly encouraged to join us - for one, you hold up half the sky, for two, you can do justice to all those wonderful Latina singers, where I just peel paint.

About us: We're a trio looking for a lead vocalist, ideally who can also play keyboard or rhythm guitar. We've got drums, lead guitar, and me doing bass/vocals. I'd like to be able to focus more on playing bass. Want someone who can do vocals on most songs, but isn't going to be bored when we do instrumental jams or for the songs I want to sing.
We're a casual band playing because it's fun. We'd like to eventually do some playing out, but for fun - not trying to gig as a second job.
We practice Monday evenings at a space in Grandview.
Music styles seem to meet around 80's and 90's alternative, post punk, new wave (REM, The Cult, Better than Ezra, The Cure). All members contribute song suggestions. Also spending time just jamming. We're doing covers and originals.
About us: We play what ever sounds good. We just put the group together been playing together for a short time but starting have things coming together and sound good, just need a few members to round us out. We do this for fun and plan to play out
About us: Looking for a heavy hitter. Not necessarily the craziest. But, someone who can come up with great drum beats.
Influences are tough because I feel it puts in some type of limitation. Into bands like In Flames, Pantera, Machine Head, Trivium as well as many others some softer some heavier. Currently there are 3 members guitarist, bassist and vocalist. Just need drums. We practice in Mount Perry, Ohio
Drama free , just some middle aged musicians looking to have some fun writing and playing.
About us: We are a new Ghost tribute project based in Dayton, OH currently working under the name of St. Jezebel. We have the core guitar trio (rhythm, lead, bass) and lead vocalist. Our original drummer had to quit due to conflicting schedules. We have a sweet practice space in Dayton that we use every Wednesday, usually ~noon. We love to jam and we're all pretty laid-back. If you're into Ghost like we are, let's get together and see what happens!
About us: am a versatile musician—pianist, organist, and drummer—rooted in gospel and R&B, with the power and intensity of hard rock and heavy metal, the reverence of Christian sacred music, and the sophistication of smooth jazz. My playing blends feel, precision, and dynamics, allowing me to adapt authentically to each style while maintaining a strong sense of groove, musicality, and expression.
