About us: I write in many different styles and genres and I tend to mix things up a lot. My music can be classified like this: heavy, bluesy guitar grunge like Smashing Pumpkins or Soundgarden, symphonic and atmospheric like Sigur Ros, psychedelic like Pink Floyd and futuristic like Radiohead. Above all, I try to make deep, emotional music by using any means possible. I disregard any cultural and genre rules and just try to make something new and inspiring. I don’t really compose to perform, just write and produce and let the songs guide me. I would like to work on a new album with a good pop/rock singer for release under the CitizenAria brand. About us: Thank you so much for considering playing with Trotters Wake Irish Band or Almost Awake Cover Band!

Trotters Wake plays a high energy mix of old and new Irish and Scottish drinking songs, rebel songs, ballads, and traditional instrumental tunes. Our full instrumentation includes acoustic guitar/electronic kick drum, fiddle, bodhrán (Irish hand drum), and bass guitar. We play a more traditional style like The Clancy Brothers, Irish Rovers, and The Dubliners alongside songs from more “modern” bands like The Pogues, The Waterboys, Flogging Molly, and Gaelic Storm. I formed and led the band in Arizona for 17 years before moving to Souderton, Pennsylvania in April 2023 and reforming the band here. We play private shows now but will be playing in pubs eventually. We play 1-3 shows per month within about a 150 mile driving distance from Souderton. I have a full band now but I need backup players who may move into primary roles. Irish music experience and the ability to improvise are preferred, but if you play well and are interested, please contact me. No professional experience is necessary, and age is absolutely not a factor. I’ve had players from ages 16-80, but I especially like mentoring younger players in college or recent grads who need some $ and experience. I can provide contacts for my former bandmates if you want to talk to them about their experiences in the band. Typical pay ranges from $100-$400/show, depending on the travel time and performance length. I pay by check and do report income as required by IRS guidelines.

Almost Awake is a 60’s-80’s cover band playing our rock, folk, and country favorites. We were formed in 2024 from a group of friends in the Lions Gate community in Souderton. We have acoustic guitar and bass guitar but our drummer recently passed unexpectedly. We have a repertoire of about 2.5hr of material and have played out 4 times.

About us: TEEN COUNTRY/BLUEGRASS/COUNTRY ROCK BAND FORMING
Hello! I'm Noelle, 17 - a singer and rhythm guitarist looking to start a country/bluegrass band.

Looking for: Lead guitarist, banjo, fiddle/violin, mandolin, bass guitarist, harmonica, drummer, (mainly trying to gather up the main ones like lead guitar, bass, drums. so we cant start having some fun)

My basement has an open space where I can supply: Drums, Mandolin, Extra Guitar + Amp (though bringing your own would be preferred), and a few microphones, plus a stocked fridge. I can possibly get us some practice time on a stage, and am also wanting to eventually build a platform in the basement.

I know how to play a little harmonica, drums, and mandolin, but would much rather find players who really shine on that particular instrument.

This will be a collaborative group - we'll decide on the band name, setlist, vibe, etc. I'm also open to not just covers but also originals as we go!

Starting this for fun and to connect and grow great friendships but eventually we can start open jams and when the group is ready i have plenty of connections for some good starter gigs.
