Bands Seeking Vocalists Near You

About us: Columbus-based cover band seeking someone who can sing lead and play rhythm guitar to replace a member who moved away. We play indie rock, pop, and classics.

We're two people in our 30s (drums & keyboard/backup vocals). Practice 1x/wk and aiming to gig 1x/mo.

About us: We're a trio looking for a lead vocalist, ideally who can also play keyboard or rhythm guitar. We've got drums, lead guitar, and me doing bass/vocals. I'd like to be able to focus more on playing bass. Want someone who can do vocals on most songs, but isn't going to be bored when we do instrumental jams or for the songs I want to sing.

We're a casual band playing because it's fun. We'd like to eventually do some playing out, but for fun - not trying to gig as a second job.

We practice Monday evenings at a space in Grandview.

Music styles seem to meet around 80's and 90's alternative, post punk, new wave (REM, The Cult, Better than Ezra, The Cure). All members contribute song suggestions. Also spending time just jamming. We're doing covers and originals.

About us: I am a Lead and rythm guitar. I have played in classic rock bands that play Tom Petty, Neil Young, Rolling Stones, Grateful Dead,Led Zeppelin etc.

About us: [love for pluto] is an indie rock band that started in 2012, has played many shows played in NJ & PA, released 2 albums, and is currently focused on writing the 3rd album.

We all have full-time jobs Monday-Friday and try to hold practice as a full band about once or twice a month.

We have a home practice space with a drum kit, PA and mixer setup.

Check out our music anywhere you'd listen to music by searching "love for pluto" and if you like what you hear and are interested, send us a message!

About us: Part of an established, high energy rock, 4 piece cover band, looking for a dynamic drummer. Band has been around for about 4 years now and we are quite busy traveling around central Florida. We have over 2.5K followers on FB and play coast to coast.
We are looking for a professional quality drummer with lots of experience, someone versatile who is very passionate about music and can sing backups and possibly lead. We need someone willing to travel, who's a team player, and mature enough to know when to act professional and when to let loose. It is super important that you do not party while playing at shows and you must have your own equipment and able to transport it yourself.

Bassist/keyboardist/vocalist & guitarist are doing our own arrangements of the psychedelic 60's covers to be performed at casuals such as anniversary parties, birthdays, etc., & maybe some bar & grills on the outset. After a few sets for the sake of gigging have been adequately learned, writing will ensue. There will be plenty of room for creativity on both the covers & writing. Rehearsals would be either in Hermosa at Abalone Lounge or Gardena. Drummer will be contributing to the rehearsal room rental & needs the following skills: dynamics, good meter, vocal harmony skills, swing ability, & able to play with a looper (sequencer) on some tunes. We play at a comfortable & healthy volume level.
No pay for rehearsals & no immediate pay for gigs.
