About me: Hello! My name is Jesiah, I’m 20 and I’m a trombone player & composer that’s Starting a Band Called Starcade Groove, honestly so that I can make some new friends and do something I love with other young musicians.

Starcade Groove will be a Jazz-Funk-Indie Fusion following similar styles of musicians such as Laufey, Stevie Wonder, Jackson 5, Anri, and Genres such as Jazz, Funk, Blues, Indie Pop & Jazz, Bossa Nova, Yacht Rock, Disco, Ska, and Pop. Along with that, We will play a mix of Original music and cover arrangements, composed and arranged by me. And For my “Don’t/Can’t read sheet music/Play by ear” Musicians like myself, Don’t worry! I always add the audio files of the full song and individual parts in the Song Specific Google drive folder!

I’m looking to form a full band of 10-16 people

Looking for:

Bass- Male or Female(Bonus if you also play Double Bass(my bass player is gonna be out for a few months so I need someone to cover for her)

Drums- Male or Female(preferably)

Guitar- Male and Female(1 each)

Keys- Male or Female

Aux Percussion- Male or Female(2 Players)

Alto Sax- Male or Female(Double Reed Players are Acceptable)

Tenor Sax- Male or Female(Double Reed Players are Acceptable[Flute, Clarinet, Soprano Sax])

Bari Sax- Male or Female(Double Reed Players are Acceptable[Bass Clarinet])

Trumpet- Male or Female

Vocalists- Bass(Male), Tenor(Male), Alto(Female), Soprano(Female)

Other requirements:

Must be a Musician

Ages: 18-24

Must live in the Chicagoland area(Preferably Bolingbrook, Romeoville, Joliet, Westbrook, but anywhere in Illinois if you don’t mind the commute)

Bring your own equipment(Music Stands, Amps, Cables, etc. Really whatever you need to play)

Other Info:

iPad/Digital sheet music users are suggested but not required. I’ll print out copies but if you can, print your own copy just in case. I’m clumsy and forgetful and might forget to do so

If anyone has any rehearsal/recording studio recommendations or spaces big enough to fit 10-16 people, let me know, otherwise I think we’re going to rehearsal at Gremlen Recording Studios in Aurora, Il

I’m currently working on a general rehearsal schedule, but I was thinking maybe 4-6pm Wednesday-Friday and 12-4pm or 2-6pm on Saturday(I’m looking into figuring out Google Calendar so that you can add in your schedule conflicts, so we’ll know, as a band, who might to leave early, be late, or be a no show(if it’s last minute, just communicate that to me or the band to be’s group chat otherwise just put it on the calendar, I’ll look at it.) also if a majority of the band can’t show one specific rehearsal day, there just won’t be any rehearsal that day)

About us: Fanny Ray and the Sinners' Symphonic is a 9-piece orchestra consisting of violin, viola, violoncello, flute, clarinet, guitar, bass, drums, and vocals. About me: I played 5+ years professionally, Google YukonRyder and check out my music ( 2 CDs) Im dreaming of a 3 or 4 piece ensemble that can play acoustic originals, folkie old stuff, country, gospel, bluegrass like for mostly video and a few live gigs. Ilike to work with people who can sing, sing harmony, and play another instrument especially a lead like fiddle, flute, sax, clarinet but an acoustic bass or drummer with brushes is also cool.

About me: I play the drums(and bass a little), compose and produce/mix/beat make. I've played at a few churches and a festival/rap concert but mostly play at home. I mostly play hip hop and gospel but I'm a fast learner and can play almost anything with the right equipment/time. I'm in a wheelchair but I get around really well(which startles people at first). I don't make long term commitments but will play anywhere(reasonably) when I'm free or if asked beforehand or if you just want to jam. I just love music and entertainment and want to be involved any way I can. I'm a super nice guy; I don't drink, smoke, curse, or blow up. About me: Multi-instrumentalist seeking new musical experiences, opportunities, bands, work, collaborations, etc! Interested in discussing any ideas you have or want to try or need me to be a part of. Here’s an informal resume:

-Experience performing at various levels of professionalism. Approximately 10 years.
-In addition to the instruments I selected for the ad, I also play mandolin, some keys, and I am learning saxophone. Eventually planning to learn violin. Mostly self-taught.
-Studied music theory under instruction of a professional jazz guitarist for one year.
-Experience being a part of and managing bands. Mix of cover and original bands.
-Able to improvise and adapt to rhythmic and modal changes in live and jam settings.
-Conceptual knowledge of polyrhythms; comfortable in 2:3 and 6:4 as well as 4:3. Comfortable with odd time signatures.
-Experience with live sound mixing and PA systems. Approx 3 years.
-Experience recording, mixing and mastering songs, demos, and other musical productions both as a performer and producer. Approx 3 years.
-Looking for more opportunities to record and produce artists/bands.
-Looking to compose music/songs with others.
-Looking to share and teach music theory to any individual eager to learn.
-Looking for opportunities to play in or be part of bands.
-Experience in fixing and designing audio rack, pedalboards, amps, and other musical electronic gear. Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering.
