After several years in the business I found my way into the advertising business and owned an FM radio station in central PA. I am retired now and have begun pkaying again. About me: Looking for a band to join. I am a skilled guitarist. Studied electric lead guitar, acoustic/finger-style/rhythm, and classical guitar. Experience playing live shows. Experience playing solo guitar pieces. Developed aural skills. Took courses at Georgia State University including classical guitar performance under John Sutherland. Several semesters of music theory. I can also play cello and piano. Looking to join band just for fun. looking for anything casual: jam and play covers, write and play originals. I don't need to perform live, and I'm not looking for income, but I can and will play gigs. Just looking for a group to hang out with and jam with, as my passion for music is still alive. I have all my own equipment.

I live in the middle of nowhere Georgia, in Cornelia. Not too far from Gainesville. But, can make time to practice and/rehearse every week.

About me: I am heavily influenced by Slipknot's guitarists Jim Root and Mick Thomson. I am self-taught for 3 years, but have not gotten into improvising and solos as much yet. I can play both Rhythm and Lead, but more experienced in Rhythm when I play riffs. I am looking for someone to jam bands like Slipknot, Linkin Park, System Of A Down, Metallica, Mudvayne, Deftones, etc. I play on a 12x10 Orange Combo Amp with a Noise Gate Pedal. The guitar I use is a Les Paul Epiphone Special II in black with okay pickups. The Strings I use are 11-56 Gauges (Drop B).

About me: I am heavily inspired by Slipknot Guitarists Jim Root and Mick Thomson. I also love to play Metallica, Deftones, Linkin Park, Etc. I'm mostly looking for someone to jam with! I am also a self-taught player, and have played for almost 3 years now. I am not fully involved with Scales or many solos, as I am mostly a Riffer myself. I can try to learn solos if needed, but it might take a while. Also inspired by James Hetfield. I play with an Orange 12x10 Combo Amp with a Noise Gate Pedal.
