About me: I’m a 23 y/o producer and baritone singer. I write edm which is grounded in natural sounds. I especially like working with folk, jazz, and nature (like frogs and crickets) elements. I’m also learning how to use a Native Instruments DJ console so I can benefit from the more tactile experience, but I’m kinda sh*t at learning tech so bonus points if you’re technologically inclined. I have strong musical instincts and a knack for writing lyrics (and the life experience to go with it). About me: I was the frontman and multi-instrumentalist in a local band here for a long time, moved to SW Florida for a family business and ended up being a full-time musician there. I've played in a lot of styles in a lot of situations, and gotten to really stretch my versatility and chops. I'd like to join a working band with like-minded musicians who take the grind and the music, but not themselves, seriously. Ideally looking for a fairly high-energy pop-punk, late 70s-early 80s kind of band, but I love the fun stuff from the 90s and 00s. I'd love to find/start something within (but not limited to) the Venn diagram of The Clash, The Police, Talking Heads, The Jam, Joe Jackson, The Fixx, XTC, Elvis Costello, Guster, Squeeze, Psych Furs - all the way through to Blur, Blink 182, Goldfinger, Lit, Firewater, and a whole host of other bands too numerous to mention. I just really miss the energy of a group of friends who work hard, rock out, and have fun.
