About me: I’m a grad student at Ohio State University. I’ve been playing both acoustic and electric guitar for 11 years. I’m into classic rock, soft rock, power ballads, and emo/punk. Heavy metal and death core aren’t my thing.

I’m looking to join a local committed band. I don’t have a rehearsal space (I mostly practice in my rented apartment), but if your band is looking for a lead guitarist, or you need someone to fill in for a gig on a temporary basis, I’m interested.

About me: I’m a 44 year old guitar player looking for likeminded musicians to jam with. Whether it’s playing covers, writing or improvising, I’m down for whatever as long as it’s my type of music. I play a lot of heavy riffs but I wouldn’t call it metal necessarily. My inspiration comes from bands like Tool, Rage Against the Machine, early Queens of the Stone Age, early Incubus, Radiohead, NIN, Primus, Portugal the Man, TV on the Radio, Primus, Pixies, Pink Floyd, Manchester Orchestra, Nothing but thieves, Faith No More, Interpol, Gwar, Foals, Fantomas, Mr Bungle, Mars Volta, At the drive in and Turnstile just to name a few. I know a lot of 90’s, early 2000’s and classic rock covers and can sing quite a few also. I can be available to practice 1-2 nights per week. I would love to eventually start playing out. I’ve been in multiple bands in the past and have played out 10-20 times. I’ve been playing guitar since I was a kid. I’m not a shredder by any means and have never really been into that. I’m more of a melodic player. I love big chunky sounding riffs. Playing with a band and being in sync with each other is when I feel complete. Please contact me if you’re interested.

If you play it, its gonna be a good time. I do not wanna Label myself a metal band, a electronic band, a blues band. No mix it all and do it all. People are gonna be walking away, I was at this festival, and thought this was badass bluegrass band playing, but then they played better Metal than these Metal bands dude the cotton candy was awesome. Like im talking good times I dont need anymore bad times. You all who think you do will one day. Im Not hateful thats my point Im not hateful whats so ever i Love people. I dont want to have drunk people dozing off on me with pills. None of it. Ill be good to you you be good to me. I will always hold a friend up. Let me add at the end. Im looking for all ages, if you are a good person you are welcome in my band. If you think people dont think this way you are welcome in my band. If you want to turn there heads and teach them a thing that 80 year olds and 13 year olds can have the best band you are welcome in my band. Cmon School Of Rock what better movie. For real though? Id rather practice at my house or do online tracks cause I take care of my grandma and I have it rough leaving her to emotional for me. If thats understood then you understand me.
