I am looking to form a band, with members who lives in Northern Virginia. I want to play rock, punk, alt rock, or perhaps that with something electronic mixed in. I’ve been drumming for about 20 years, so I’ve played about 3 gigs but never found a group who wants to play anything like: SUM 41, System of a Down,
Blink-182, Queens of the Stoneage, Glass Animals, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, or Sleigh Bells.

About me: I have a lot of (generally) classic rock songs that I play myself on acoustic that are received well. I have arranged material with a bass player who sang harmony and I enjoyed that a lot. I'd like to get together with a piano player, a bass player, and someone who can (at least try to) harmonize. I'd like to go through some material and see where we go from there. (I can play lead guitar, but I personally do not want to concentrate on that myself right now.)

About me: I am a drummer that enjoys playing rock, hard rock, progressive rock. I prefer to be in a band where people can play in odd time signatures. I prefer having the ability to improvise while playing. I've been in Indie, Progressive Rock, Hard Rock, and Progressive Ska Rock bands. I prefer to play originals. I also play guitar, bass, ukulele, chapman stick, various percussion, and some keys. I really like Rush, King Crimson, Tool, the Police, Alice In Chains, Soundgarden, Mutemath, Biffy Clyro, Filter, Chevelle, Breaking Benjamin, and many other groups.

About me: Seek top-level (or would-be) GenZ and Millennial Female Singer-Musicians (+ Composer ain't bad) for new Multi-Genre band based on lessons learned getting earlier band signed with major label in LA ... followed by extensive touring with well-known bands and artists in US and Europe.

As a side-benefit (and feature), members must subtly exhibit happy cool new ways and attitudes to deal with today's festering issues really caused by old no longer working ways (duuh).

I'm a singer, composer, actor, writer, director, hoping to find new musical connections with like minded souls who want to create and form a band. I'm a very young 66 years old, a couple of years out from day-job retirement (also in tech arts) and getting a jump on creating my next life adventures of recording studio fun and live performances. Let's try it out, play, sing, jam, discover how/if we can work together and develop exciting new projects.

I've got a big bass/baritone voice and sing everything from Big Band: Sinatra, Buble & Cincotti, to Rock: Jethro Tull, Beatles, Pink Floyd, and Carol King, Linda Ronstadt, Janis Joplin, (some women's power songs just work in my voice) my own music, and hopefully some of your music too. What do you do? I've been singing all my life but am relatively new to composing and putting out music - some of which can be found on Spotify, Apple Music, etc, with videos on YouTube.
