About me: The Washington Balalaika Society is an all-volunteer community orchestra, the largest orchestra of Russian folk instruments in the United States. We rehearse on Wednesday evenings in Arlington. Our next concerts are on June 14 and 15 in Bethesda, MD and at the Capital One Hall, Tysons, VA. In preparation, we want to expand 2 sections: We need one additional, experienced accordion or bayan player. We want to add one upright bass player who would like to play a Kontrabass balalaika.
