About me: I’m a 44 year old guitar player looking for likeminded musicians to jam with. Whether it’s playing covers, writing or improvising, I’m down for whatever as long as it’s my type of music. I play a lot of heavy riffs but I wouldn’t call it metal necessarily. My inspiration comes from bands like Tool, Rage Against the Machine, early Queens of the Stone Age, early Incubus, Radiohead, NIN, Primus, Portugal the Man, TV on the Radio, Primus, Pixies, Pink Floyd, Manchester Orchestra, Nothing but thieves, Faith No More, Interpol, Gwar, Foals, Fantomas, Mr Bungle, Mars Volta, At the drive in and Turnstile just to name a few. I know a lot of 90’s, early 2000’s and classic rock covers and can sing quite a few also. I can be available to practice 1-2 nights per week. I would love to eventually start playing out. I’ve been in multiple bands in the past and have played out 10-20 times. I’ve been playing guitar since I was a kid. I’m not a shredder by any means and have never really been into that. I’m more of a melodic player. I love big chunky sounding riffs. Playing with a band and being in sync with each other is when I feel complete. Please contact me if you’re interested.

About me: I've been playing for over 17 years and have developed my own style. I am inspired by hardcore punk, metal, outlaw country, pop, and blues.

Through our nonprofit and creative arms, OHMS helps musicians and bands from every corner of the state — from Cleveland to Cincinnati, Akron to Athens — by offering spaces, platforms, and support systems that keep the scene alive and evolving.

OHMS Radio — a 24/7 internet station streaming Ohio music old and new.
We broadcast local acts, “NationaLocal” artists (national acts with Ohio roots), scene history, live shows, interviews, and special programming that puts Ohio music on the map.

OHMS Archive Foundation — preserving the sound and story of Ohio.
We collect, digitize, and document local recordings, flyers, photos, and oral histories — building a public archive that honors every scene and era, from garage and punk to hip-hop and experimental.

OHMS Civic Club — connecting the community.
A grassroots gathering for musicians, venue owners, collectors, historians, and fans to collaborate on preservation projects, share opportunities, and strengthen Ohio’s creative network.

OHMS Music Group — supporting the next wave.
Includes our record label, recording studio, and future record store — helping Ohio artists produce, release, and promote their work independently but with collective support.

About me: I produce real R&B (70s,80s & my favorite 90s new jack swing)hip-hop, rock, country & Pop. Producing since 92 and have also developed and managed artist. I want to produce a full project with music video funded by me. You must travel to me if you want to work f2f in my studio.

About me: I am a lead vocalist who has toured with many bands. I occasionally play around on bass and acoustic guitar. I also have experience with keyboards and every aspect of recording. I’ve recorded professionally in the past and have many contacts who could be helpful as well. I originally stepped away from the music business to focus on my family over ten years ago but have decided that I would like to pick up where I left off. As a vocalist in the past I opened for Nickelback. When I was younger my band won the Battle of the Bands to play at Warped Tour. I also played some shows with Devil Wears Prada and Rose Funeral in another band when I was younger. I even played bass as a last minute stand in for George Jones band after George passed away. About me: Hello my name is Claude and I am local to Youngstown Ohio. I currently compose most of my songs using synthesizers, an electric guitar, and a software called renoise. I know how to play keyboard and electric guitar a little bit, but I am searching for someone who plays violin, guitar, or cello professionally for certain parts in my song. About me: i have been producing edm music for around 6 years so i have knowledge in the aspect of mixing and mastering. and i played drums for around 4 years until covid hit and ive been wanting and excuse to get the drums out again. i’ve been hoping to make shoegaze type of songs, or even pop punk. bands that i really like are bands like Blanket, Winona Fighter, Deftones, Hail The Sun, Neck Deep and Loathe.
