About us: Kumori is a recently formed J-rock/J-pop cover band that has been invited to perform at Otakon 2025. We're looking for an electric bass player or rhythm guitarist first and foremost that is willing and able to integrate quickly and hopefully perform with us in early August at Otakon. About me: Hi, I'm Ryan. I'm drum hobbyist and have been playing off and on for over 25 years. I am currently in a band, basically a rotating cast of musicians, and have been for nearly all those years. They have no interest playing gigs, but I do. So, I am looking for a group that needs a drummer and is currently gigging or has the intent to. I have played very little in public and I need the exposure. I practice daily and have the availability to practice with a band or gig any day of the week. I am up for almost any genre of music, but I do not play double bass or have any interest in playing strict jazz (although I love the genre).
