About me: Hey there!

I am 26, and am a longtime musical hobbyist who is hoping to eventually turn their hobby into a profession. I am both an acoustic and electric violinist and have played the instrument for two decades, starting with classical repertoire before branching out into rock, and metal styles that focus on both riffs and melodic lines. I have also been a songwriter since I was 12, again starting with classical music while also delving into pop, electronic, rock and metal music as the years went on. Additionally, I am a classically-trained vocalist of 7 years, specializing in clean vocals as a high baritone/low tenor.

My musical inspirations as far metal music goes span across a variety of subgenres, some of which are Dream Theater, Iron Maiden, Blind Guardian, Rhapsody of Fire, Kamelot, Epica, Nightwish, Iced Earth, Candlemass, and Ne Obliviscaris among others. Ideally I would love to form a symphonic, power, and/or progressive metal project, but I am very open to experimenting with different instrumentations and soundscapes to create something unique.
