Male
Standard:Professional
Practice Place:At Home
Our Genres: Pop.
We're looking for people who play: Backing Vocals, Lead Vocals.
About us: I have played about a thousand gigs, either on my own or with various sorts of band. What I do, under my band name of Arrow, is playing mainly pop hits from the 1970s to the present day for weddings, parties and events. Yes, pop rather than rock, and not rap.
Just to explain why under "Instruments I play" I have answered "None". is that I do not want instruments playing in the band. I've played saxophone and clarinet but think they're old-fashioned for pop. See, say, Rita Ora singing to a huge stadium and there will be not an instrument in sight, although there is the sound of backing and lots of dancers..
I have 600 instrumental and over 1,200 karaoke hard copies of backing tracks, and of course pretty well all songs have backing tracks available. I have all the equipment - sound system, karaoke outfit, laser lights etc - and I'm looking for a singer or two singers. We are based in Harrow, northwest London.
I want to find someone with looks, great voice, feel for the music and stage personality.
Later I can see whether there is a demand for more live musicians in the band so we might make a bigger band.
Although I can read music I am happiest playing by ear. I used to play jazz but have turned my back on that. I have written 9 songs and a future project will be to take the world by storm, becoming international with songs.

What are you aiming for? Just singing at a rehearsal room or perhaps virtually via Zoom? Playing gigs? How much practice are you happy with? How do you get on with singing harmony, or aren't you sure? Lots of people just sing the song, meaning the melody line, and haven't thought of being with another singer and harmonising with them.
We might sing to each other over the phone to see how we like the way each other sing.
Come on, I'd really like to hear from you.
