About me: I am a female singer/songwriter looking to join a folk/contemporary folk indie band for fun and possible gigs. Influences include: Pentangle, Fairport Convention, Donovan, Nick Drake, Bert Jansch, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Nico, Melanie, Joan Baez, Janis Joplin, Jefferson Airplane, Led Zeppelin, The Incredible String Band, Simon & Garfunkle, The Velvet Underground, The Doors, Mazzy Star, Kate Bush, The Cranberries, Sparklehorse.
I previously worked with a band during my own music career so I have experience performing gigs but this was about 10 years ago. I write and record my own material at home and play the guitar, Greek bouzouki, keyboard, among other things but all at a medium level. I wouldn't mind collaborating to create something new, or just singing other people's material, or covers.
