About me: I am a 72 year old drummer / percussionist with a lot (50+ years) of experience. I have recently moved back to NJ from VA where I played in several groups including a pop duo, a jazz trio and a very good Beatles tribute band. I have also played with country bands and shows. My influences include Gene Krupa, Dino Danelli, Ringo, Charlie, Hal Blaine and Bernard Purdie. I am looking to have fun. If it results in gigs, that is good too. I have begun singing in recent years and I'm told I'm pretty good at it, but I don't think of myself as primarily a singer. I am retired so playing during the week is desirable.
