About us: Leading a quartet whose lead guitarist recently moved away to Dorset. We mainly play songs released in Chicago in the 1950s by artists like Bo Diddley, Muddy Waters, Hound Dog Taylor, Otis Rush, Slim Harpo, Howlin’ Wolf, Little Walter, Jimmy Reed and Arthur ‘Big Boy’ Crudup. This is the music that inspired the British Rhythm and Blues Boom of the 1960s: bands like the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, the Kinks, the Animals, the Yardbirds, Cream and Led Zeppelin.
