About us: 2027 is going to be a big year.
After a 20 year pause in performing original music. Along with my 20+ back catalogue,(recently removed from streaming media while I put this together) a pile of new music and the commitment to playing live, DT on The Drums and I need a bassist to complete the line up.
Forgive the long description, I don't want to waste anyone's time so here is a whole pile of info:
Who should join us?
Anyone that wants to have their individually in the music they play. Your sound, your style, your creative energy.
Maybe you've been there, slept in vans, got changed in toilets, played to 3 blokes and a dog, got ripped off, found yourself at a motorway services at 3 am coming back from a show and you wonder why you bothered but yet you smile when you recall those days.
You may already be in a successful covers band (I am and it will remain live) but you want to be more creative.
Maybe you are an 8 foot tall multi sexual bright blue alien from the planet Narg and want to find your tribe?
My job is easy, I just play power chords and some fiddly bits on a guitar while shouting nonscience into a mic but the bass and drums, they make the show.
Fortunately I play for one of the best drummers around and he needs YOU.
Style:
a review said my music was a mix of Sabbath, motorhead, maiden with a huge helping of Doom.
I don't t really know what that is but you might recognise it. if you do and want your bass to be out there, get in touch.
Some stuff you need to know:
I turned 60 this year, this is a 10 year plan or at least until me knees fall off.....
2027 will be or testing ground. new music, recordings and support slots whenever we can.
Pub gigs only to get us out but NO COVERS (ok maybe 1 per 45min set)
We are both semi retired from 9-5 work so ideally you will be to so we can record and work in studios midweek daytimes.
Rehearsal spaces in Devizes and Trowbridge
phew That's it.
so best thing is drop me a note on here or isotonicmusic@gmail.com and lets go from there.
My name is Mike,
thanks for your time and lets get on with keeping music live.
Cheers
