Acoustic Guitarist Wanted
Ozzjay
California
Male
I play: Bass Guitar, Acoustic Guitar.
I'm looking for people who play: Acoustic Guitar, Lead Vocals, Drums.
About me:
I live in Brentwood and I'm a bass player first and foremost but I play guitar and sing as well.
The last band I was in was a band called Renegade a Styx tribute in Sacramento big harmony is a big deal to me. Mostly I want to have fun with vocals as a major focus.
If I had to pick a ideal style to play it would be power pop. Like Raspberries, Beatles of course, Rubinoos, 415, Jelly Fish, the Wonders, Todd Rudgren, Elvis Costello. Bad Finger, Bowie,
I have many other styles I'm interested in playing. Queen, Kansas, Boston, Sly and the Family stone, Tower of Power, Earth Wind and Fire, Chicago, ELO, Doobie Bros.
I’ve been playing in an acoustic guitar duo recently playing harmony based songs by , Beatles, CS&N, Floyd, Kinks, Bowie, Elvis Costello, Doors, Chicago etc. I played my acoustic guitar through an Electro Harmonix Bass9 effects pedal that makes it so the first 3 strings are an octave lower to play bass with my thumb and the other 3 strings normal to play the chord parts. I also used a harmonizer for big fat vocals.
I also do decent impressions of singers that have helped sound like the original artist.
