About us: We're Primary Covers, an established functions band based nr. Leatherhead and we're seeking a new Lead Guitarist to join our existing line-up of Lead Vocals/Rhythm Guitar, Drums/Vocals and Bass/Vocals. We're looking for someone who is confident soloing and can play within a structured set list as we aim to play as close to the original songs as possible.
Within our repertoire, we cover a wide range of songs ranging from the 60's right up to the current day, with the aim of getting the dance floor filled, everyone singing along or both.
We rehearse weekly (Monday evenings generally) at our own rehearsal room based in the Leatherhead area. We have a professional back line inc. FOH sound engineer and we all use IEMs for gigs.
We’re aged between 45-60, so as close to that age bracket as possible would be ideal. Any applicant must be a team player, willing to help with get in/get out, bring enthusiasm and a fun party spirit to the role.
