I’ve been playing drums on and off for about 10 years, I’ll be honest and say I’ve probably got the skills of someone who’s been playing for I’d say 3 years though. I absolutely love metal, rock, indie and some classic tunes that are more pop and more fit for radio. I do not own an acoustic drum kit (yet) so any practices would have to be somewhere that provides a kit and cymbals etc.
