About us: We are a Grunge // Rock outfit called The Monday Smile.
We are looking for a pro level, creative bass player to join the band.

We have a second album coming out this year.
A lot of shows booked including festivals and a lot more planned.
We need the right person to jump in, learn the songs and hit the ground running with us.

We rehearse around once a week at either a studio in Chiswick or one in Hampton. Tend to gig around 3-4 times a month.

The right person traits / attributes:

* proficient at the bass (parts are challenging) preferably plays a 5 string (we tuned down : drop C)
* Great stage presence
* Committed- available for shows, rehearsals etc
* Creative and able to write parts
* Able to travel - have your own transport
* No egos
* Decent gear
* Can sing backing vocals (preferably)

Our second album is a bit of a departure from the first - much more Soundgarden / Alice In Chains / Audioslave influenced.
