About me: I am a singer and pianist. I am really into old soul along the lines of Aretha Franklin, Otis Redding and my all time favourite Ray Charles. I am currently working on a setlist of covers to get some decent paid gigs. My own voice is probably closest to someone like Rag n Bone Man. I am doing original takes on popular covers. I also write my own songs and play and sing Jazz classics in a soul influenced way.
I am looking for musicians who are motivated and want to get something going with decent paid gigs and a mix of covers and originals. Committed but also up for a laugh and a jam. I have been playing for 20 years and I am a decent standard so prefer to play with people of a decent level or with musicality and commitment to improve if not :)
Bass, Drums, Duet partners and solo instruments like saxophone and trumpet. Happy to also have the odd jam and connect without pressure.
