About me: Calling all bass players and drummers who are into rock, metal and alt.
I've picked up the guitar again after a long hiatus and I'm keen to play covers with like minded individuals.
Heavily into a wide range of bands, including, Kyuss, Gojira, Primus, Deftones, Smashing Pumpkins, Fu Manchu, Metallica and many many more.
Keen on covers for the next 12-18 months but keen to write originals down the track.
I've come up with a setlist of 10 tracks to perform:
RIFF RAFF (AC/DC)
DAMN THAT RIVER (ALICE IN CHAINS)
SHORTEST STRAW (METALLICA)
NO ONE KNOWS(QOTSA)
I ALONE ( LIVE )
BAD BOY FOR LOVE (ROSE TATTOO)
THE LOST ART OF KEEPING A SECRET(QOTSA)
PRISONER OF SOCIETY (THE LIVING END
EVEN FLOW (PEARL JAM)
TNT (AC/DC)
The goal is to practice these for the next few months before recording videos of the performance live (in a hall or studio).
We can simultaneously network with venues or other musos while practicing the tracks but ideally we need to have the video done.
I'm open to making changes to the list if we find the any of the tracks are too repulsive or monotonous to perform (after obviously practicing then performing them together).
