About us: I’m looking for people around Brighton or close enough to start an original dream/jangle pop band, with influences including Beach House, Cocteau Twins, The Cranberries, She’s Green, Cigarettes After Sex, Mazzy Star and Boy Harsher - atmospheric and melodic, but with some dark wave and noisier edges too.
I can play guitar, bass and/or keys and have plenty of equipment and recording experience. I’m particularly interested in finding a singer, drummer and another guitarist or bassist, although the exact lineup is flexible. You don’t need to be a virtuoso!
The aim would be to write and record original songs, rehearse regularly and eventually play gigs. Not looking for hired musicians or an intensely careerist setup, but I do want to make something genuinely good and see where it goes.
