About me: I’m looking to connect with like-minded musicians to put together a small, stripped-down group.
I’ve been playing guitar since 1984. Started out on the classic ‘80s rock—bands like Mötley Crüe, AC/DC, and Def Leppard—then moved into more blues-driven playing during the grunge era. These days, I lean toward melody-focused material with a more laid-back feel.
The direction I’m aiming for now is something with a relaxed, tropical “island” groove, layered with some mariachi-style trumpet for color and atmosphere.
Plan is to start simple:
2 acoustic guitars (rhythm + lead interplay)
1 trumpet for texture and vibe
The goal is to rework familiar cover songs into stripped-down versions that fit beach clubs, bars, and outdoor venues—something unique but still crowd-friendly.
