About us: Hey there! We’re Things We Built, a Melbourne-based alt/rock/pop/indie originals band on the lookout for a new bass player to complete our four-piece lineup.
We're in our 30s-40s and we’ve got vocals/rhythm guitar/keys, lead guitar, and drums – and we’re keen to find someone who can lock in with our rhythm section and bring that deep, subby pulse to our original tunes (we’ve got around 20 tracks so far).
We rehearse weekly or fortnightly and are based in the Doncaster area, so ideally you’re happy to travel there.
We’ve gigged at some great local venues – Workers Club, Old Bar, and council-run festivals – and we’re keen to keep the momentum going with more live shows and ongoing recording.
