About me: Multi-instrumentalist seeking new musical experiences, opportunities, bands, work, collaborations, etc! Interested in discussing any ideas you have or want to try or need me to be a part of. Here’s an informal resume:
-Experience performing at various levels of professionalism. Approximately 10 years.
-In addition to the instruments I selected for the ad, I also play mandolin, some keys, and I am learning saxophone. Eventually planning to learn violin. Mostly self-taught.
-Studied music theory under instruction of a professional jazz guitarist for one year.
-Experience being a part of and managing bands. Mix of cover and original bands.
-Able to improvise and adapt to rhythmic and modal changes in live and jam settings.
-Conceptual knowledge of polyrhythms; comfortable in 2:3 and 6:4 as well as 4:3. Comfortable with odd time signatures.
-Experience with live sound mixing and PA systems. Approx 3 years.
-Experience recording, mixing and mastering songs, demos, and other musical productions both as a performer and producer. Approx 3 years.
-Looking for more opportunities to record and produce artists/bands.
-Looking to compose music/songs with others.
-Looking to share and teach music theory to any individual eager to learn.
-Looking for opportunities to play in or be part of bands.
-Experience in fixing and designing audio rack, pedalboards, amps, and other musical electronic gear. Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering.
