I play: Lead Guitar, Rhythm Guitar, Trombone, Piano, Keyboards, Clarinet.
I'm looking for people who play: Lead Vocals, Drums, Bass Guitar, Rhythm Guitar.
About me: I am a 20 year old musician who hopes to join/form a band where I play lead guitar! I have a background in classical and some jazz piano and trombone, with an immense interest in alternative/indie/pop/punk/rock/whatever else genre(s). I have been playing guitar for over 5 years, and have been playing my genre(s) of interest on guitar for about that amount of time. I am located in La Jolla, and a full time student at UCSD (in my 3rd year as an undergraduate), which (along with my jobs), takes up a fair amount of my time.
I am hoping to find people and/or a band that share similar interests in terms of music/genre with me, as well as personal values and priorities. I am not wanting to work with anyone who is homophobic, transphobic, antisemitic, racist, and overall unwelcoming/unaccepting to people. I would love to work and play music with people who foster a safe, creative, productive and friendly environment.
I hope to incorporate my background in classical/jazz music into my original music in terms of instrumentation/rhythms/overall vibe, to get the music to have many layers, that everytime its listened to it could be interpreted as a slightly "different genre".
