About us: We’re Unit 22 - a Hertford-based five-piece (drums, guitar, base, vocals and me on keys) on the hunt for a new bassist after ours abandoned us for the North ;) The bands been together for over We’ve all been playing together for years and mainly do high-energy “Dad Rock” festival-friendly bangers (Foo Fighters, Thin Lizzy, AC/DC, Sweet, Wild Cherry, Jump, Mustang Sally etc) but we happily dip into funk and pop to get people dancing.
We’re don't gig every weekend anymore, we prefer fun local (summer) festivals like Rock the Priory, Old Town Live and Hertford Musical Mystery Tour over relentless pub circuits.
Ideal bassist is relaxed, reliable, can groove across genres and is more into crowds singing along than chasing every Friday night booking. If you like good tunes, cold pints and not taking things too seriously... you’ll fit right in!
